SERDANG, July 13 (Bernama) -- Putra Business School, UPM (PBS) will be organizing a two day course on Accounting & Financial Analysis for Non-Accountants. This course is targeted towards all levels of management, department heads, entrepreneurs, business owners who need an understanding of the fundamentals of financial management. Participants will be able to interpret and analyse financial statements and essential financial ratios. They will also understand the value of a firm or project’s returns and performance and recognise the factors needed in financial analysis and know the limitations of the financial statement. 

The facilitator for the course is Dr.Ahmed Razman Abdul Latiff, a senior lecturer at PBS with vast experience in training and consultations on risk management, institutional governance, corporate governance and internal control systems. He also regularly features on media i.e. radio, TV and print, giving commentaries on current issues relating to economics, finance, ethics and corporate governance.      

The course will be held on Wednesday 25^th and Thursday 26^th of July at TNCPI Building, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) from 9.00am to 5.00pm with a reasonable fee of RM1900 per participant. PBS and UPM alumni and staff are entitled to a 10% price reduction. Groups of three (3) are given a 15% price reduction.
