KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 20 (Bernama) -- Education Malaysia Global Services (EMGS) is hosting Education Malaysia Partner Conference (EMPC) at Palace of the Golden Horses Hotel, Kuala Lumpur from 18 September – 21 September 2018.
EMPC is a pre-schedule of one-to-one business matching meetings between Malaysian education providers and student recruitment agencies. In this event, institutions will be able to meet several agents in a Rotating Meetings System, which is generally between 15-20 minutes long for each meeting based on pre-scheduled meeting timetable. This event is specially tailored to the need of industrial players and it is not open to public nor students.
EMPC is a 3 - day event which consists of several Seminars and Workshops, a Welcoming Coktail, Meetings, a Gala Dinner and several familiarisation (FAM) Tour. This is a great opportunity for Malaysian education providers to talk face-to-face with quality student recruitment agencies and get into depth background of various companies for future business collaboration. This event is expected to be very beneficial to all participants as we are also organising some programs that are specific in the nature of recruitment of international students in Malaysia. We will be expecting some 80 participants worldwide to join this event.
According to Dato Dr Rujhan Mustafa, Chief Executive Officer of EMGS, “This is the very first event to be organised in Malaysia to help promote Malaysia’s Education Institutions worldwide. Our workshop programme will be the most comprehensive and cost-effective way to forming effective partnerships between the participants and to brief our counterparts on our industry developments. It is also a good platform to share new ideas among the participants” he added.
Dato Dr Rujhan also explained that Malaysia has a unique system for easy student visa application. With this system, students will find it very simple and friendly to apply for visa and henceforth makes it more exciting to studying in Malaysia. The students may apply online for a Student Visa with EMGS. If all documents submitted are complete and it complies with the requirements, a Visa Approval Letter (VAL) will be issued within 14 working days from EMGS. With the VAL, the students can enter Malaysia or apply online for a Single Entry-Visa.
