INAUGURAL "ISLAMIC FINANCE RENDEZVOUS SERIES" IN PULAU PINANG

Thursday 10/01/2019

KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 10 (Bernama) -- The Association of Islamic Banking and Financial Institutions Malaysia (AIBIM), the Malaysian Takaful Association (MTA) and Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM), will be jointly organising the inaugural business engagement programme entitled “Islamic Finance Rendezvous Series” (IFRS) at Eastin Hotel, Pulau Pinang on 14 January 2019. The event will be officiated by  the Chief Minister of Penang, YAB Tuan Chow Kon Yeow.

IFRS targets more than 200 Multi-National Companies (MNCs) and Small Medium Enterprises (SMEs) to participate in this event. An exciting programme has been lined-up to provide greater insights and understanding on financial products and services offered by Islamic banks and takaful operators through panel discussion, knowledge sharing and business matching sessions.

The business matching sessions serve as a platform for participating companies to seek advise from the Islamic banks and takaful operators on solutions for their financial and protection needs, as well as for the wellbeing of their businesses.

The event will begin from 8.30 a.m. until 4.30 p.m. Participants can enjoy interactive sessions and visit more than 25 booths of Islamic banks, takaful operators and collaborators.

For registration and more information on the event, please contact AIBIM at 03-20268002 or MTA at 03-20318160.
