KUALA LUMPUR, March 7 (Bernama) -- CIMB Islamic Bank Berhad (“CIMB Islamic”) is pleased to present the Maher Zain Malaysia Tour 2019, by the most popular Muslim artiste on Facebook and the most viewed on YouTube with 5.8 billion views to date. The tour spans four cities i.e., Kuala Lumpur, Johor Bahru, Penang and Kota Kinabalu. The globally-renowned Swedish multi-platinum singer-songwriter who hails from Lebanon is committed to a host of philanthropic initiatives. Many of his songs are themed on spirituality and doing good, values that CIMB Islamic and CIMB Group (“the Group”) also embrace in support of the Group’s sustainability agenda.

He had also performed in the UK edition of the “Sounds of Light” concert organized by Human Appeal International in aid of Syrian refugees. When Maher celebrated his birthday with his Facebook fans, he also requested them to donate money to a charity that builds water wells in Africa.
