DISCOVER HIDDEN TREASURES AT THE COCA-COLA COLLECTORS FAIR 2019

Tuesday 09/04/2019

KUALA LUMPUR, April 9 (Bernama) -- If you have been on the look-out for one-of-a-kind vintage Coca-Cola items and iconic advertising images to add to your collection, then the upcoming and much-awaited Coca-Cola Collectors Fair 2019 on 4 May 2019 at Berjaya Times Square is the place to be.

The Coca-Cola Collectors Fair 2019 will see a gathering of approximately 75 collectors from 11 countries, namely China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Macau, Philippines, Singapore, Spain, Switzerland, Thailand and Taiwan, exhibit their collectibles ranging from cans, limited-edition bottles, merchandise, miniatures, iconic posters and artwork, souvenirs to even bottle openers. Malaysia will be represented by four members from the Malaysia Coca-Cola Collectors Club Committee which was established in 2012.

Aptly themed “Celebrating Festivities”, ardent fans and members of the public will get the opportunity to reminisce about the journey of this 133-year-old brand as they explore the various exhibits, discover hidden gems, as well as buy, trade and sell prized items to add to their personal Coca-Cola treasure trove. This will be a one-day event, held from 10am to 7pm. If you are not sure about your vintage item, head to Berjaya Times Square and get it assessed by Coca-Cola vintage professionals and members of the Malaysia Coca-Cola Collectors Club Committee.

Never one to forget about those in need, the Malaysia Coca-Cola Collectors Club will also be organising a charitable auction amongst its collectors where a wide range of items, including a limited-edition bottle and a montage poster of the collectors, will be up for grabs. The money raised will go to the charity of their choice, the Malaysian Association for the Blind. There will also be many activities for the public to participate and indulge in, with special giveaways.

The Coca-Cola Collectors Fair is an annual event organised by Coca-Cola Malaysia to encourage its avid fans to buy, trade and sell vintage Coca-Cola memorabilia, ranging from locally produced items to some of Coca-Cola’s most sought-after iconic items. It has been held annually since 2011, in conjunction with the Coca-Cola Founder’s Day - the day when Coca-Cola drink was first sold - on 8 May. Apart from bringing together passionate collectors, the Collectors Fair also raises awareness on the high quality of inspired innovation and creativity behind Coca-Cola’s merchandising and branding over the last 133 years.
