CIMB Cycle 2019 @ Putrajaya – Quotes from Cyclists
 
Cyclist 1 – Irfan Ahmad, from Puchong 
 
This is my second time riding in CIMB Cycle. I also participated in this event at Sepang last year. I ranked better this year although I didn’t get to the podium but I did my best. To prepare for the race I trained a lot and did night cycling in Putrajaya, for 53km every Thursday. I think this race should continue every year. 
 
Cyclist 2 - Gert Conradie, from South Africa, living in Petaling Jaya
 
Due to an injury, I didn’t complete the full race but turned around halfway. This is my second time competing in CIMB Cycle. The race was well-organised and compared to Sepang last year, the Putrajaya location is much better in terms of traffic for the cyclists. The jersey is very nice. 
 
Cyclist 3 – Yim Wai Soon, from Kuala Lumpur
The ride was fine and the location was fine. I didn’t do anything specific to prepare for this event… I had always wished that there would be a race in Putrajaya, because the roads are very safe, especially at weekends - and now it’s happening. This is my first time joining CIMB Cycle, and I hope that there will be a CIMB Cycle every year. 
 
Cyclist 4 – Rosli Bon Dollah from Klang
 
I am very satisfied with this race, and I enjoyed it very much. I hope CIMB will organise it again next year.
