KUALA LUMPUR, May 10 (Bernama) -- The Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP), Ministry of Commerce, the Thai Chamber of Commerce(TCC) together with Koelnmesse from Germany, as the official organizer of THAIFEX – World of Food Asia, proceeded to meet on 5 April 2019 in order to ensure their readiness in organizing “THAIFEX – World of Food ASIA 2019." The invitation is extended to those interested to join business negotiations with the leading food and beverages manufacturers, exporters, importers and distributors from Thailand and all over the world, altogether over 2,700 companies in more than 5,800 exhibition booths covering over 100,000 square-meter exhibition space. THAIFEX – World of Food ASIA 2019 is to be held between 28 May and 1 June 2019 at IMPACT Arena, Exhibition and
Convention Center, Muang Thong Thani. 

Mr. Wittayakorn Maneenetr, Deputy Director General of the Department of International Trade Promotion, presiding as chairman during the meeting stated that THAIFEX – World of Food ASIA 2019 serves as the prominent platform for entrepreneurs from all around the world to enter business negotiations with Food & Beverage service operators from Thailand and over 40 countries across different regions including East Asia, ASEAN, Europe, the US, Latin America and Africa. With over 2,700 companies gathering to showcase a wide array of their products, THAIFEX – World of Food ASIA 2019 is one of largest food and beverage product trade show in the region. The trading deal this year THAIFEX is estimated to be above 1 billion baht. Therefore, THAIFEX is the annual mainstay event in the food and beverage industry that entrepreneurs from all over the world are looking forward to and is not-to-be missed trade show of the year. 

Mr. Wittayakorn further reaffirmed the readiness in organizing THAIFEX this year that as the main organizers, the Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP), Ministry of Commerce, the Thai Chamber of Commerce (TCC) and Koelnmesse, including IMPACT Muang Thong Thani, responsible for the venue, have convened frequent meetings in preparation for accommodating the participants and audiences onsite. The thorough exhibition management is in place for registration, encompassing the highlight activities and sufficient parking to welcome entrepreneurs in food and beverage industry from all over the world to join business negotiations and lineup of new product trend sessions. DITP, is, therefore, pleased to invite all the manufacturers, importers, exporters and those interested to visit THAIFEX – World of Food ASIA 2019 at IMPACT Challenger Hall 1-3 and IMPACT EXHIBITION Hall 5-12. The trade days are between 28 - 31 May 2019 while 1 June 2019 is open for the trade and public day.
