PENANG and KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia, July 5 (Bernama-PRNewswire) -- Taiwan Expo 2019 is finally unveiled today at Setia SPICE Convention Centre in Penang. The long-anticipated expo is showcasing products from 140 Taiwanese manufacturers across 110 booths, providing visitors the opportunity to learn about Taiwan's internationally renowned smart city technologies, Industry 4.0, green technology, medical care, trending lifestyle products, tourism, bubble tea as well as a special Halal Taiwan Pavilion. This two-day event is expected to generate significant business opportunities between Taiwan and Malaysia for the third year running.

This year's Penang outing provides the perfect opportunity for businesses in the northern region to learn more about Taiwanese products and services.
Taiwan Expo 2019 is held in Setia SPICE Convention Centre in Penang on the 5
th and 6
th of July. The two-day event features 12 themed pavilions with two exhibit areas covering products and services under six major segments including "Smart City & Industry 4.0", "Green Tech", "Healthcare", "Halal Taiwan", "Taiwan Lifestyle" and "Tour Taiwan".
In response to the Malaysian government's move towards smart cities, the
Taiwan Smart City Pavilion will showcase full suites of solutions comprising of seamless hardware and software integration for the cities of the future;
Taiwan Excellence Pavilion will showcase leading brands in Taiwan's Industrial 4.0 revolution such as health management solutions by Advantech, HiWin's robotic arm as well as smart retail technologies; the
Taiwan Healthcare Pavilion will introduce state-of-the-art medical related products including PhotoTherapy, a breakthrough cancer treatment.
Taiwan Halal & Bubble Tea Pavilion and the
Taiwan Agriculture Pavilion hope to strengthen cooperation in Malaysia's and Taiwan's halal industry by presenting some of Taiwan's best halal certified products to Malaysia. In addition, the expo is showcasing Taiwan's functional fashion while the
Taiwan Beauty Pavilion brings to Malaysia a wide range of products ranging from high-tech equipment to beauty supplement and even bubble-tea flavoured facial mask.
