PUTRAJAYA, July 5 (Bernama) -- NGC Energy Sdn. Bhd. (NGC), a pioneer of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) in Malaysia on 4 July 2019 presented a mock-up cheque amounting RM30,000 to the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs (KPDNHEP) for the Food Bank Malaysia Programme.

Deputy Secretary General (Domestic Trade) of KPDNHEP, Yang Berbahagia Datuk Badrul Hisham Bin Mohd was present to receive the cheque from Yang Mulia Raja Shahreen Bin Yang Mulia Raja Othman, board member of NGC during the Hari Raya Open House organised by NGC Energy.

Puan Julianna Kamaruddin, Chief Executive Officer of NGC Energy Sdn. Bhd. and Encik Abdul Wahab Bin Long, Chief Executive Officer of Food Bank Malaysia Foundation were among those present.

“NGC Energy is pleased to support the Food Bank Malaysia Programme initiated by KPDNHEP to reach out to needy families, especially the B40 households. It is in line with our community engagement initiatives on “Energizing The Nation”.

Some 600 people attended the Raya Open House event which was held for the second time by NGC for its clients and external stakeholders to celebrate the special occasion of Aidilfitri.

“This Hari Raya Open House is an excellent opportunity for NGC staff to establish a meaningful rapport with our stakeholders and also as our way of showing appreciation to our valued stakeholders for their support,” said Julianna.

Puan Julianna also took the opportunity to distribute “duit raya” to orphans and children from Madrasah Tahfiz Anak Yatim Miskin Raudhatul Baiduri, Banting Selangor.
