Istanbul based event organizer Elmangos presents another major event plotting the future of the Islamic economy through thought leadership and facilitating the exchange of ideas and collaboration among Islamic finance, fintech and now Halal industries.KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 11 (Bernama) -- Riding on the success of the popular Global Islamic Fintech Summit (GIFS) 2018 in Kuala Lumpur, the thriving city is again set to host the annual summit reinforcing KL’s position as a leading global Islamic economy hub. Taking place from the 1st to the 3rd of October this year, Elmangos is co-hosting the Islamic Digital Economy Experience (IDEX) and GIFS to highlight the huge demand for digital halal industry services globally and is expected to attract more than 900 delegates. The main theme of the event is innovation, entrepreneurship and economy.
GIFSxIDEX 2019 will continue to bring all the thought-provoking panels and new startup showcases, with the addition of new content. Day 1 will be exclusively for masterclasses, hosted by Malaysian Global Creativity Center (MaGIC), that will go into detail on fintech and other digital-related topics allowing participants to engage more deeply with the industry experts and gain greater insights. The second day of the summit will be held at the Berjaya Times Square Hotel, and will host IDEX, which focuses on the various sectors of the Halal industry, the importance of entrepreneurship in the digital age, how to thrive within the ecosystem, and a dedicated panel for female entrepreneurship. In addition, an exclusive Halal Food and Finance Roundtable will be conducted hosting key stakeholders. The final day of the event, held in the same venue is GIFS, which will focus primarily on the FinTech industry for Islamic economy and beyond.
The summit is supported by Islamic Corporation for the Development of Private Sector (ICD), Association of Islamic Banking & Financial Institutions Malaysia (AIBIM), FinTech Association Malaysia, Malaysia Takaful Association, and Investment Account Platform.
