MALINDO AIR EXPERIENCES DELAY TO TRICHY

Tuesday 29/10/2019

SEPANG, Oct 29 (Bernama) -- Malindo Air experienced a slight glitch in ground operations at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport on 27 Oct 2019. Our flight bound for Trichy was affected with delay which was caused by technical defects to our aircraft, and the delay has caused arguments between our ground operations staff and some passengers.

Upon discovering the technical glitch, standard operating procedures were carried out by our highly-trained technical crew and engineers to ensure the airworthiness of the aircraft. Malindo Air takes the wellbeing and safety of our passengers very seriously.

We have taken extra measures to ensure the smooth sailing of our flight operations and this incident is deeply regretted. We have no intention of causing the delay to be prolonged and we would like to reassure the public that the situation has been rectified and rest assured that our operations at the KLIA terminal have resumed to normal. The delayed flight departed on a new scheduled time. Food and accommodation were provided during the delay.

A thorough investigation will be carried out by Malindo Air on the cause of the incident.

We deeply regret that the delays have caused inconvenience to our passengers and their families.
