KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia, Nov 18 (Bernama) -- “Many politicians and business leaders are underestimating the importance of robotics and artificial intelligence. AI will irreversibly change the world by making billions of humans unnecessary, inclusive of creative workers. Therefore, we need to redesign the meaning of work and life.” This is according to Sergeĭ Pereslegin a Russian physicist, philosopher and among the world’s leading technology and society forecasters.

This and other future related topics will be presented and discussed by Sergeĭ and the founder and organizer of the Business Innovation Congress, Dr. Konstantin Schamber, an AI social impact advocate, among other eminent speakers that include, Malaysian technocrat Puan Chan Cheong (better known as CC Puan), at the upcoming Business Innovation Congress in Kuala Lumpur. CC Puan is the founder, Group MD and CEO of Green Packet Berhad, an international telecommunications, media and technology company listed on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia (KLSE).

This year’s theme, “DIGITAL TRANSITIONS: ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE and INDUSTRY 4.0”, centers on the far-reaching benefits, challenges and opportunities of Artificial Intelligence, as seen in four exciting topics throughout the congress - How Industry 4.0 is Revolutionizing Manufacturing,  Impact of  Artificial Intelligence, Cyborgs and Future Trends, How Artificial Intelligence affects ASEAN Business and Leadership.

Dr. Schamber and Pereslegin will lead a group of European and ASEAN speakers, shedding light on the tougher “future-forward” issues many seem to skirt around. As noted by Dr. Schamber, “many governments and corporations will use AI as a tool to expand their own power. This might lead to the unification of cultural and philosophical foundations to minimise social conflicts. Besides, once gene engineering is well developed, and AI strong enough, new elites will be born. However, these new elites may not necessarily be humans.”
