PUCHONG and SELANGOR, Malaysia, Dec 5 (Bernama-PRNewswire) -- Jasmine Food Corporation ends 2019 Rice Day with successful wrap up of 'HealthyRiceStyle 2019', captivating thousands of visitors to join the rice-related activities at North Court, IOI Mall Puchong, Malaysia. Aiming to enrich Malaysian consumers on the benefits of consuming rice, the campaign was the first to portray seven varieties of consumer's engagement activities, including celebrity chef's cooking demo, health workshop and demonstration, blood donation, children educational zone and talk shows.

One of the success activities were health cooking demonstrations, in which visitors experienced special sessions with two Malaysia's celebrity chefs, Fami Taufeq and Jaafar Onn. Involving Jasmine's best specialty basmati rice, the award-winning Jasmine Royal Pusa Gold and PusaCream, the two celebrity chefs impressed with new experiment of healthy recipes, while presenting knowledge for all consumers about cooking tips and innovation of healthy rice dishes. Highlighted healthy recipes by Chef Fami Taufeq was green apple walnut rice and Chef Jaafar Onn was mushroom rice with beans.
"Persuading people to change their lifestyle is a challenge, hence we should apply step-by-step approach to create a real impact for healthier society. Starting from the younger ages, we also provided an interactive 'Education Zone' which caught the most attention from hundreds of kids to visit and explore a new fun learning experience," added Lim.
In the 'Education Zone', children aged 5-12 had their fun in a playground and learned a playful interaction with education about benefits of rice, rice milling process, and meaningful pictures that captured the backstories of rice.
Educating people of specialty rice benefits to regulate blood sugar, several talk shows about rice consumption and sugar-related food were also presented by Tung Shin Hospital Dietitian and Nutritionist Marissa Parry, by Her World.
