COVID19 STRIKES THE COUNTRY INCREASING THE NEED AND DEMAND FOR VIRTUAL CLASSES

KUALA LUMPUR, April 1 (Bernama) --
With another pandemic, the Cabin Fever among the age group of 18-25 has been on the rise as a side effect of the Movement Control Order (MCO) to subdue the spread of COVID-19. According to a survey by Monsta, a Malaysian based company specialises in engaging young talents, found out that 70% of students indicate anxiousness and are fearful for their future.

Therefore, Monsta is introducing a series of virtual classes with the upcoming University of Xperience Summit 2020, starting from April until July 2020, to fight this upcoming trend of Cabin Fever-20. With Monsta’s previous experience in conducting successful virtual classes, their platform is the best options for young talents to turn to for learnings from the real world (classes will be conducted following ‘kidzania’ concept to make it more appealing to our targeted audience ) as they keep their classes fun and engaging.

Amongst some of the notable and satisfied customer that have gone through the programme by Monsta are Rafiq, from faculty of Kolej Kejuruteraan Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UMP), “The programmes conducted online via Monsta has provided me a whole new perspective in shifting my mindset in the most exciting and fun way. I absolutely love the fact that I get the chance to speak and discuss one-on-one with key industry player and to get the advice personally was life changing for me as I understand more and put it into practice. I highly recommend for everyone to participate in this programme!”.

Founder and CEO of Monsta, Zhi Ee Chan said, “the University of Xperience Summit 2020 will be launch on the 1 April 2020 instead of November to deliver the high demand of virtual classes due to Covid19 pandemic. This summit is aimed to keep young talents engaged and promote continuous learning during their unexpected additional “Semester Break” due to the COVID-19 MCO, where the focus of the world is taken away from students”.

With the MCO in place, students have gained an extended 1-month Semester Break with nowhere to go and potentially resort to gaming and binge-watching on TV Programmes.

Due to this pandemic Covid-19, there will be more people losing their job and upskilling themselves is the only way to go. Being adaptable to current situation will help our young adults to be better.

With knowledge that is gained only outside the classroom, the summit contents focuses on addressing Personal Growth, Productivity and the Future of Work being presented by Industry leaders:

Here are some of the industry leaders that will be conducting our virtual classes:
