MALINDO AIR'S IATA OPERATIONAL SAFETY AUDIT (IOSA) REGISTRATION RENEWED
Tuesday 28/04/2020
KUALA LUMPUR, April 28 (Bernama) -- Malindo Air has successfully completed audit procedures certification for conformity to the International Air Transport Association’s Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) for the second time. Renewal certification is valid for a two-year term, from now until June 3, 2022. IOSA is an internationally recognized and accepted evaluation system designed to access the operational management and control systems of an airline, which occurs every two years once the airline successfully completes the first audit.
Capt. Mushafiz Bin Mustafa Bakri, Malindo Air’s CEO said, “As a member of the International Air Transport Association (IATA), Malindo Air must go through an extensive safety audit by IOSA for every two years. We have successfully passed the audit procedures thus obtaining our IOSA certificate renewed since first being added to the IOSA Registry in 2016.” “This certification is a valuable safety validation for us as it aligns us with global best safety practice. It helps to ensure our continuous operational management and control systems are in accordance to the IATA standards, regulatory requirements and industry best practices. It therefore sets Malindo Air at par with the international aviation industry requirements,” added Capt. Mushafiz.
