SHAH ALAM, June 12 (Bernama) -- Alhamdulillah, at 2.06PM on 11th of June 2020, Les’ Copaque Production’s YouTube Channel has reached 10 million subscribers. It is a truly remarkable and proud achievement because this is the first YouTube Channel in Malaysia to reach 10 million subscribers.

With this achievement, Les’ Copaque Production is entitled to receive the Diamond Play Button award from YouTube, which will only be given to channels that manage to reach 10 million subscribers. Prior to this event, Les’ Copaque Production has already received the Silver Play Button award for reaching 100, 000 subscribers, and the Gold Play Button award for reaching 1 million subscribers. Since February 2020, only 566 YouTube channels from all around the world have garnered 10 million subscribers.

Les’ Copaque Production’s YouTube Channel was established back in 2009. It features a wide variety of intellectual properties produced by the company such as ‘Upin & Ipin’, ‘Puteri’, ‘Pada Zaman Dahulu’, ‘DaDuDiDo’, and the latest English series is ‘Upin & Ipin: The Helping Heroes’ the first episode of which has reached more than 2 million views. Les’ Copaque Production’s YouTube Channel has reached more than 4 billion views in total.

The popular animated series ‘Upin & Ipin’ owned by this company has brought forth a social media sensation through an episode called ‘Syahdunya Syawal’ due to a controversial line uttered by one of the characters named Fizi. The production team took this opportunity to create an apology video from Fizi himself and has reached more than 19 million views in just one week.
