The campaign promotes decoupling from densely populated places and leverages on the destination’s wide-open spaces along a 17-km beachfront and curated activities that embrace the new norm for safety and peace of mind.
The “Don’t Join the Crowd” campaign offers two enhanced packages, the
Sun-tastic Getaway and Golf Galore @ Desaru Coast with savings of up to 60 per cent. The campaign, which is valid until 30 September 2020, with a travel period of until 23 December offers families and holidaymakers the most comprehensive experience of the destination.

Sun-tastic Getaway promotion packages start from RM689 onwards for a two-days, one night stay for two adults and two children with offers curated activities within the destination and around greater Desaru. The packages bundle rooms at the destination’s three premium hotels – Hard Rock Hotel, The Westin and Anantara, curated activities and resort credits of up to RM100 to be used within the destination.

Golf Galore is offered on twin sharing basis and starts from RM799 per person for a two-days, one night stay. The package includes hotel stays, two days of unlimited golf at The Els Club Desaru Coast Ocean Course as well as unlimited access to the nine-hole Academy Course and the driving range.

Stay Well @ Desaru Coast – Strengthened Precautionary Measures at Desaru Coast Destination Resort In the wake of COVID-19, Desaru Coast has proactively strengthened its health and safety precautionary measures with its
Stay Well @ Desaru Coast programme. The destination has adopted the new normal across its operations with heightened sanitisation, security and safety measures.
To ensure the well-being of all guests, all employees at Desaru Coast will continue to undergo briefing sessions and receive frequent updates on the latest medical recommendation and appropriate measures.
Temperature screening/declaration process for employees and guest will continue until further notice. At the point of check-in at hotels, along with infrared temperature screening, all guests are further screened based on a recommended health questionnaire protocol. Guests are advised to reach out to hotel personnel should they feel unwell or consult a doctor immediately.
To ensure safe distancing and to minimise contact, hotels in Desaru Coast are adopting contactless check-in and room entry options as well as contactless menu order in their restaurants to ensure the safety of staff and guests.
Beyond these measures, all hotels, golf clubs and attractions have increased the cleaning frequency and sanitisation across their premises, with further attention at the public spaces.
