PENANG, Sept 14 (Bernama) -- UDA Holdings Berhad (UDA) a sustainable and competitive real estate developer company in Malaysia is taking proactive steps by establishing a strategic partnership with Maybank Islamic to provide innovative financing methods - HouzKEY.
This effort is in line with UDA's commitment to maintain its focus on
customer-oriented business by introducing various initiatives to promote and facilitate home ownership.
Through a collaboration with Maybank Islamic, UDA hopes that the HouzKEY initiatives can ease the burden and at the same time provide alternative financial assistance for buyers interested in obtaining UDA's Evoke Residences condominium units.
Through the HouzKEY program, Maybank Islamic offers up to 100 percent financing and no down payment is charged where the burden and problems can be resolved well. Buyers can also get three (3) guarantors to increase the potential for financing approval.
UDA President / Chief Executive Officer, Sr Mohd. Salem Kailany said, “With the low cost of moving in, namely three (3) months of monthly instalments (which is refundable, subject to terms and conditions), this is a new method to help people to own a home without having to take a longer time to save money to pay for a high amount of down payment.”
“As property prices increase from time to time, HouzKEY is the best option, especially for young people who are still renting or for first-time home buyers who find it difficult to provide a 10 percent down payment,” he said.
Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Maybank Islamic was signed by Sr Mohd. Salem Kailany, President / CEO, UDA and Maybank Islamic was represented by Mrs Sally Lye Saw, Managing Director for Maybank Real Estate Ventures.
The signing ceremony were witnessed by Mr. Zahrin Zakaria, Group Chief Financial Officer of UDA and Mr. Chew Kian Wee, Relationship Manager, Maybank Real Estate Ventures.

In conjunction with the 50th anniversary of the establishment of UDA, through this program, UDA hopes to increase the rate of home ownership, especially in Penang. This coincides with UDA's business principle which is to
enrich the lifestyle of Malaysians by providing more housing and further increase the rate of home ownership among Malaysians.
