  AGROBANK ANNOUNCES WINNERS OF LUCKY DRAW WITH TOTAL PRIZE VALUE OF RM2 MILLION

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 29 (Bernama) – Agrobank today announced the winners of lucky draw with the total prize value of RM2 million for the Kita-Kita Aje 2 Campaign (KKA 2). Winners of the lucky draw for the two (2) main categories were open to customers who have successfully made savings for one year, via KKA 2 through Agrobank branches nationwide.
 
Khadijah Iskandar, Covering President / Chief Executive Officer of Agrobank, said the campaign was open to all customers and AgroPrimaS account holders at all branches of the Bank nationwide with participant only to make deposit as low as RM500.00 and to maintain the amount in the account until end of campaign period, which is for 12 months.
 
“The KKA 2 campaign received good response with about 60,000 accounts participated this time and we target the number to grow to 90,000 accounts through the continuation for the campaign KKA 3 which begun 1 August 2020,” she said.
 
She said, the KKA campaign by Agrobank provides an easy opportunity to the Bank’s customers in rural areas to win prizes through the “Local Lucky Draw’ category which is quite unique compared to other draw campaigns.
 
“A total of 5,796 winners were selected under the ‘Local Draw’ Category which announces 21 winners from every Agrobank branch (138 Agrobank branches nationwide) with two (2) Localise Draw Event.”
 
“Meanwhile, 31 winners were announced for the Grand Draw Category with two (2) sub-categories consists of General Category and Junior Category. The Grand Draw Category offers many lucrative prizes including two (2) units of Ford Ranger XLT* and cash amounting to RM30, 000 as well as i-Phone XS smartphone,” she said.
 
Speaking at the prize presentation ceremony of the Kita-Kita Aje 2 (KKA 2) Campaign, Datuk Seri Haji Ahmad Bin Hamzah, Deputy Minister 1 of Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industries (MAFI) said, “The programme or campaign as KKA 2 does not only serves as “Reward System” to the Bank’s loyal customers, but also foster the spirit of savings among them, regardless of age and background especially during the difficult times as now,”.
 
“I am confident and believe, maybe there will be among the Agrobank’s customers which will use their extra cash from the auto-moratorium facility by Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) following the postponement of home, car and some other financing payments starting 1 April 2020 until the end of this month, to participate in this KKA 3 Campaign and maybe be you will be the next winner of the Grand Draw of the Agrobank’s KKA 3,” he said.
 
The KKA3 campaign which ends 31 July 2021, is the third year the KKA campaign organised which offers more cash prizes as financial assistance to customers to ease their burden due to COVID-19 situation and the uncertainty of economic condition for the next 1 or 2 years.
 
Among the prizes offered are Monthly Cash Money of RM4, 000 and Monthly Cash Money (Education Fund) of RM1, 000 respectively for five (5) winners.
 
Also present at the KKA 2 Campaign prize presentation ceremony were YB Dato' Haji Che Abdullah Bin Mat Nawi, Deputy Minister II of Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industries, Agrobank board members, Agrobank shariah committee members, Agrobank senior management and member of the media.
