KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 14 (Bernama) -- Bank Muamalat Malaysia Berhad (Bank Muamalat) has confirmed that one of its employees at the Kota Kinabalu branch has tested positive for the COVID-19 virus and is now under the care of a government hospital.
As a precautionary measure, all co-workers who have been in direct contact with the said employee have been asked to self-quarantine by staying at home for the next 14 days, until given the appropriate medical clearance. Contact tracing is also underway in line with the Health Ministry’s guidelines. The branch, located at Aeropod Commercial Square, Jalan Kepayan in Kota Kinabalu has been closed to enable thorough sanitisation and cleaning procedures to be carried out.
