Malaysia Convention and Exhibition Bureau (MyCEB) KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 19 (Bernama) -- Malaysia Convention and Exhibition Bureau (MyCEB) is proud to announce several new bids won for the country’s business events industry. Despite experiencing a significant shift due to the COVID-19 pandemic over the past few months in the global business events landscape, MyCEB is proud to announce a total number 21 bids won for conventions and exhibitions, 19 bids won for meetings and incentives and 6 bids won for trade exhibitions which totals up to 46 bids won in the 3
rd quarter of 2020.
As for exhibitions, MyCEB successfully secured bids from Asian Consumable Appliances and Smart Electronics Trade Expo (ACASE) 2020, Kuala Lumpur International Logistics and Transportation Exhibition (KILAT) 2020 and Asia Fence Expo 2020. Looking forward, MyCEB has also astoundingly secured conventions up until the year 2022 which are respectively the 19
th Asian Battery Conference and Exhibition (19ABC), the 16
th World Federation of Chiropractic Biennial Congress and Asian Mayor’s Summit on Active Living 2022.
This proves to show that MyCEB successfully continues to secure international business events for Malaysia despite Malaysia’s tourism sector being greatly impacted by the Covid-19 outbreak.
