The 4th Digital China Summit will be held in Fuzhou, Fujian Province, from April 25 to 26, 2021. It is set to be co-hosted by the Cyberspace Administration of China, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, and the Fujian Provincial Government. It will be organized on the ground by the Fuzhou Municipal Government and other pertinent authorities.

The Organizing Committee of the Summit, which is themed unleashing greater dynamic of data elements embarking on a new journey of digital China, explains that this summit is a platform for the release of China's informatization development policies, for highlighting the latest achievements in the digitalization of China, for exchanging experiences in e-government and digital economy theories and practices, and an opportunity to bring global forces together to promote Digital China and the Digital Silk Road.
