From 9th to 16th October 2021, the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs (MDTCA) together with the Malaysian Franchise Association (MFA) are hosting the digital reunion of the franchise community around the globe.
Taking into consideration of the ‘new norm’ and the current pandemic situation, the conference and exhibition for this year will be completely in digital format, with interactive sessions for visitors, investors, and exhibitors.
MFA Chairman Datuk Dr Radzali Hassan said this prestigious event aims to bring the local and the international franchise industry players from various sectors to exhibit their franchise package and business opportunities.
“To date, the Digital FIM2021 has recorded 5,734 registered visitors and are expected to attract 15,000 visitors during this eight-day event.”
Radzali said this event will infuse greater excitement and dynamism with easy to navigate trade show. Therefore, it offers an effective platform for interaction and discussion between visitors and exhibitors via Video Conferencing, Live Chat, and Comment Box.
Over 70 brands from 11 countries are poised to take part in this Digital FIM2021. Among brands that had confirmed to participate are Regus, Marrybrown, OLDTOWN White Coffee, Global Art, Harta Rovers, LaundryBar, Gloria Jean’s Coffees, Seoraester, and Bonjuk.
Besides the exhibition, the additional highlight of this weeklong event will be the Franchise International Conference with the theme “Knowledge for Change”, Business Matchmaking (B2B), Franchise Live Session and Consult Session.

Digital FIM2021 is the only Franchise Exhibition and Conference programme organised in Malaysia, which is fully supported by the World Franchise Council (WFC), Asia Pacific Franchise Confederation (APFC) and Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE).
Digital FIM2020 had attracted 9,700 visitors and generated RM120 millions of potential business investment from 57 franchise companies.
