JD.com, awarded the
Haihe International Consumption Summit 2021 Bronze Award to the Malaysia National Pavilion, owned by Malaysia’s
JDMas Commerce (JDMas), for its excellence in promoting local brands and products to the China market.
The
Trade Commissioner of Malaysia to China, Puan Razida Hanim Razak, represented the Malaysia National Pavilion to receive the award in conjunction with the JD International Festival, in China. Over a dozen countries from Europe, Asia, North America, Latin America, and Oceania participated in the event this year to triumph as the most outstanding e-commerce country. Malaysia put up an astounding performance this past year and was extended the bronze award along with two other countries - Peru and Azerbaijan.
The Malaysia National Pavilion showcases local brands and products from nearly 100 brands, including - Nestlé, Julie’s, F&N, Maxwell Pharma, Sister’s Crispy Popiah, Syed Ezeefood, Bae-Bae, Sun Fong, Sunta, Rasa Rosz, among others. During the 5-day event held from 20-24 October 2021, JDMas managed to obtain a total export sale of over RMB 2 million.
The JD International Festival 2021 is a prelude to the 11-11 singles day promotion that commences in November, where JDMas will feature a series of promotions and attractive bulk packages for food & beverage, mother & baby, and personal care products. Through the Singles Day promotion, JDMas Commerce targets sales of RMB3 million GMV.
