KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 12 (Bernama) -- The second edition of the International Project Management Conference (IPMC) 2022 will be held on 12 – 13 December 2022 at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre to share cross industry best practices, lessons learnt, cutting edge technologies, processes, and tools in line with the theme “The Era of Disruptive Technology and Sustainability”.
 
The theme spotlights disruptions to the conventional business model which create a new breed of project managers, in innovating disruptive technologies and sustainability initiatives as the need for both are elevated in response to changing world demands.
 
With the support of esteemed partners – PETRONAS, ExxonMobil, Shell – the conference is also proud to have the collaboration of more than 10 organisations including industrial associations from five disciplines namely – Oil & Gas, New Energy, Maritime & Shipping, Building & Infrastructure, and Digital. Among the variety of topics in discourse include future project management, inclusion & diversity, and multiplier effects from successful projects.
 
Noor Ilias M Idris, Chairman of IPMC 2022, said, “Project management and all its adjacent industries are in a period of profound change. The conference aims to discuss how we can leverage these new opportunities and challenges to drive greater progress for businesses and communities at large.”
 
IPMC 2022 anticipates the gathering of over 1,000 attendees with no less than 20 local and international exhibitors providing opportunities to both market and network. From this, participants are promised an enriching overall experience at IPMC 2022.
 
An interesting programme is thus guaranteed with two headline speakers: Dr Ricardo Vargas, Founder & Managing Director of Macrosolutions, who will drive the keynote on day one titled “The Era of Disruptive Technology and its Impacts on Businesses, Projects and Initiatives”. The second day will see the founder of Green Project Management, Dr Joel Carboni, engage on the topic of sustainable project management.
