KUALA LUMPUR, April 5 (Bernama) -- Ministry of Finance has appointed Datuk Seri Ir. Jaseni Maidinsa as the new Chairman of Pengurusan Aset Air Berhad (PAAB) effective 4^th April 2023.

Datuk Seri Ir. Jaseni brings with him a vast experience in the corporate world and water industry, having previously held the position of Chief Executive Officer of PBA Holdings Berhad (PBAHB) and Perbadanan Bekalan Air Pulau Pinang Sdn. Bhd. (PBAPP).

He holds a Diploma in Civil Engineering from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (1979), a BSc. (Hons.) Civil Engineering Degree from the University of Glasgow (1984), a Diploma in Management from the Malaysian Institute of Management (1991) and a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Universiti Sains Malaysia (2001).

He is a registered Professional Engineer with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM), a Member of the Malaysian Water Association (MWA) and The Institution of Engineers Malaysia (IEM).

PAAB is a wholly owned company of Minister of Finance Incorporated, established on 5^th May 2006 as part of the Federal Government’s efforts to restructure the water services industry in the country to achieve better efficiency and quality, as well as to ensure sustainability of the industry.
