KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 29 (Bernama) -- Bank Muamalat Malaysia Berhad is honored to have received the esteemed "Most Improved Islamic Retail Bank in Malaysia 2023" and "IRBA CEO of the Year 2023" awards at the prestigious 9th Islamic Retail Banking Awards (IRBA) 2023 Ceremony held in Manama, Bahrain.

IRBA, in its 9th year, stands as a global platform acknowledging excellence in Islamic retail banking. This year's ceremony saw over 50 leading entities from across the globe striving for recognition, emphasizing the pivotal role of Islamic financial services in the international market.

The "Most Improved Islamic Retail Bank in Malaysia 2023" award was conferred following  comprehensive global ranking research conducted by the Cambridge Institute of Islamic Finance, in collaboration with Hamdan Bin Mohamed Smart University, Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE).
