  TAKAFUL INDUSTRY OFFERS EXPEDITED CLAIMS SETTLEMENT FOR VICTIMS OF THE JALAN SULTAN ISMAIL INCIDENT

KUALA LUMPUR, May 8 (Bernama) -- The Malaysian Takaful Association (MTA) and the entire Takaful industry extend their heartfelt condolences to the victims affected by the tragic incident that occurred this afternoon on Jalan Sultan Ismail, Kuala Lumpur.

Reports indicate that a large tree fell, trapping several vehicles underneath, resulting in fatalities. "We extend our deepest sympathies to all those affected by the unfortunate incident on Jalan Sultan Ismail," said Encik Mohd Radzuan Mohamed, Chief Executive Officer of Malaysian Takaful Association.

"We urge those involved in the incident to take immediate steps, including gathering relevant information such as incident photos, vehicle images, or any evidence, seeking medical treatment at hospitals utilizing Takaful health coverage if available, and notifying relevant Takaful operators regarding claims for death, injury, or property damage such as vehicles."
