KUALA LUMPUR, June 10 (Bernama) -- The Malaysia Automotive Robotics and IoT Institute (MARii), Geno Group and ACO Tech announced the release of a comprehensive White Paper Version 1 on exploring blockchain technology together with token-based economic solutions, or tokenomics, within Malaysia’s mobility ecosystem.

This initiative and its implementation represent an important step in applying Web 3 powered Direct-to-Customer (W3-D2C) technology to support sustainable business growth. The commercialized tokenomics approach presented in this White Paper Version 1, will complement MARii & ACO Tech’s solutions for the e-Mobility Service Platform (eMSP). The eMSP is a crucial part of the Government’s Connected Mobility Vision, which aims to accelerate the development of xEV infrastructure in Malaysia, in alignment with National Automotive Policy 2020 (NAP 2020).

MARii, Geno Group and ACO Tech will ensure that this initiative will comply with existing legal frameworks and maintain full transparency. All parties will work closely with regulators to uphold the integrity and legality of the first industrial application of real-world asset (RWA) tokenization in the electric mobility system. The RWA tokenization solutions outlined in this White Paper Version 1 prioritize data privacy and sovereignty, enable data monetization and foster a sustainable ecosystem to attract long-term strategic investors and business partners.

The use of blockchain technologies to deploy smart contracts further enhances the engagement between brand owners, vendors, and customers. The whitepaper version 1 details how to secure funding for infrastructure and ensure a return on investment (RoI) through long-term contracts with guaranteed benefits. Customers are also incentivized to participate in building the ecosystem, while OEM brand owners can engage directly with their customers in a more cost-effective way.

“We are pleased to introduce this important White Paper Version 1, showcasing the application of W3-D2C powered by blockchain technology in an industrial setting,” said Azrul Reza Aziz, CEO of MARii. “This initiative marks a significant step for Malaysia’s mobility industry towards greater sustainability and efficiency. It aligns with Malaysia's New Industrial Master Plan (NIMP) 2030 and the National Energy Transition Roadmap (NETR), aiming to achieve 20% of Electrified Vehicles (xEV) by 2030, 50% by 2040 and 80% by 2050’’

“The Geno team is pleased to be part of MARii’s automotive and mobility technology ecosystem, and collaboration with ACO Tech. Through this initiative, we are also committed to help our customers in their transformation from traditional industries with the use of advanced technologies.” added Ian Zhang, CEO of Geno Group.

“This landmark White Paper Version 1 is well aligned with ACO Tech’s vision for the future of Malaysia’s mobility landscape. We are pleased to be collaborating with MARii and Geno in this exciting journey of transformation for the domestic mobility sectors,” said Li Pu, CEO of ACO Tech.

The White Paper Version 1 underlines a strong commitment to technological advancement and regulatory compliance. It details several applications using Geno’s blockchain solutions, including supply chain management, recycling for the circular economy and carbon credit tracking.

The integration of W3-D2C -powered technologies is expected to yield significant economic benefits, including job creation, increased investment, and enhanced competitiveness in the global market. Additionally, this initiative aligns with Malaysia's overarching goals of digital transformation and sustainable development.

We invite industry stakeholders, investors, and technology enthusiasts to explore together with us the White Paper Version 1 and join us in pioneering this revolutionary change. The White Paper Version 1 is available for download on our website at https://www.geno.io/whitepaper.
