  MYCEB ELEVATES MALAYSIA'S GLOBAL PROFILE AT THE MEETINGS SHOW LONDON 2024

LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM, June 21 (Bernama) -- Malaysia Convention & Exhibition Bureau (MyCEB) made a significant mark at The Meetings Show London, held from 19 to 20 June 2024 at ExCeL London, the United Kingdom. This esteemed show provided an exceptional platform for Malaysia to spotlight its thriving business events industry and captivate the attention of international buyers and business event organisers alike.
 
MyCEB, alongside influential industry players such as Business Events Sarawak, Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre, Borneo Convention Centre Kuching, Sabah International Convention Centre, Sunway Resort Hotel, Marriott Hotels IOI Resort City Putrajaya, and Destination Asia Malaysia, proudly represented Malaysia at this distinguished participation under the Malaysian Pavilion. Their collective mission to position Malaysia as the ultimate destination in Asia, spotlight its unrivaled capabilities, state-of-the-art facilities, and culturally immersive experiences.

The Bureau’s unwavering presence at The Meetings Show London since 2017 underscores its firm commitment to the global industry. From 2017 to 2023, this dedication yielded exceptional outcomes, with a total of 6,625 delegates from diverse business events segments attending which contribute to an estimated economic impact of RM116 million. Notably, Kuala Lumpur and the states of Sabah and Sarawak emerged as favored locales, celebrated for their strategic connectivity, urban sophistication, and abundant biodiversity.
 
The show serves as a dynamic arena for Malaysian delegates to engage with a diverse spectrum of international business events stakeholders, highlighting Malaysia’s cutting-edge infrastructure, contemporary amenities, and unparalleled attractions. These engagements not only bolstered Malaysia's competitive stance but also underscored its promptitude to host large-scale international conferences and exhibitions.
 
Visitors at the Malaysian Pavilion seized the opportunity to delve into Malaysia's distinctive offerings through tailored offerings such as the MyTripleE Campaign, Subvention and Support Programmes. These immersive packages offer an intimate glimpse into Malaysia's warm hospitality and seamless logistical capabilities. Furthermore, visitors savoured Malaysia's rich cultural tapestry through captivating displays of local crafts, infusing the show with an authentic Malaysian charm.

A Company Limited by Guarantee (CLBG), MyCEB serves as a central hub to assist meeting and event planners to bid and stage international business events in Malaysia and act as a conduit for national product development.
