KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia, Aug 20 (Bernama) -- Honeywell (NASDAQ: HON) today announced the appointment of Nigel Brockett as President of Asia Pacific. Based in Kuala Lumpur, Brockett will lead a critical and diverse region for Honeywell that spans Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines, Japan, Korea, Australia and New Zealand.
 
As President of Asia Pacific, Brockett will ensure Honeywell’s business in Asia Pacific continues to capitalize on the company’s alignment to three compelling megatrends: automation, the future of aviation and energy transition. He will focus on driving sales enablement, developing the company’s regional talent pipeline and meeting with key customers to help them transform their industrial operations and accelerate growth through Honeywell’s portfolio of connected technologies.

Brockett has been with Honeywell for more than 20 years, holding a series of senior leadership positions in the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and Asia Pacific regions. Most recently, he held the role of Vice President Sales EMEA for Honeywell Process Solutions, ensuring customers across the EMEA region were able to leverage Honeywell’s latest process automation technologies to accelerate operational productivity and efficiency. Prior to joining Honeywell, Brockett was the general manager for Asia at a leading Engineering, Procurement and Construction firm.
