IPOH, Oct 7 (Bernama) -- XOX and ONEXOX recently organised a food distribution programme in conjunction with the Malaysia Super League football match between Perak Football Club (PFC) and Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT), as part of its loyalty rewards campaign for its most loyal and consistent paying subscribers under ONEXOX and PFC special mobile plan - The Bos Gaurus 50 (TBG50). Encik Bobie Farid Shamsudin, ONEXOX Chief Executive Officer (CEO) was present at the event, which took place in Stadium Ipoh, Perak.
 
According to Encik Bobie Farid Shamsudin, the loyalty rewards programme is timely for the PFC fans who have been consistently supporting not only the team but also by being TBG50 Plan subscribers.
 
“The programme serves as a heartfelt appreciation to our subscribers, who have been loyal in using our mobile plan and services. This translates to high level of trust and confidence that they have in us as their preferred mobile service provider for over a period of time,” said Encik Bobie Farid Shamsudin.
 
“We have done various loyalty rewards programme prior, and we decided to do it differently this time by distributing food item instead. This is considering the current economic climate and challenges faced by many people, even in acquiring basic needs like food.”
 
“We hope this would be a meaningful reward to them and at the same time, this is also a means to boost our local brand products. We are taking a two-prong approach here, which is a win-win for both our subscribers and the local SMEs,” added Encik Bobie Farid Shamsudin further.
 
This is the first roll-out of the loyalty reward programme for this year. During the event, 5kg packets of rice were distributed to loyal TBG50 Plan subscribers who had made prompt payments for a minimum of four months. Subsequently, eligible TBG50 Plan subscribers will receive SMS notifications regarding their rewards and updates each month until February 2025.
 
XOX and ONEXOX have also extended this loyalty reward programme as part of their Corporate Responsibility (CR) initiative; for which the subscribers may choose to donate their rewards to charity as part of the company’s commitment to giving back.
 
TBG50 Plan is among one of XOX and ONEXOX’s mobile plans introduced in support of PFC. The affordable plan, which was officially launched 29 March 2023, comes with unlimited data and talk time. As of today, there is a total of 6,000 TBG50 Plan subscribers nationwide.
