PENANG, Malaysia, Oct 17 (Bernama) -- Keysight Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: KEYS), announces that Gooi Soon Chai, President, Order Fulfillment and Digital Software Solutions has been recognised with the Darjah Gemilang Pangkuan Negeri (Commander of the Order of the Defender of State). The prestigious honour highlights Soon Chai’s visionary leadership in building and cultivating innovation in Malaysia’s Electrical & Electronics (E&E) ecosystem.
 
The award celebrates individuals who have demonstrated exemplary service, dedication, or contributions to the state or the nation. It is awarded by the Governor of Penang and is one of the highest honours and distinctions in the country. The award is limited to 170 living Malaysian citizens.
 
Soon Chai was recognised for his innovation and contributions to the country’s technology industry, and for helping to cultivate a national interest in STEM education. He gains the prestigious title of Dato’ Seri.
