  EPF'S ONE-STOP COUNTER AT BANGUNAN KWSP, JALAN GASING, PETALING JAYA

Kuala Lumpur, January 19, 2005 - The Employees Provident Fund's (EPF) office in Bangunan KWSP, Jalan Gasing, Petaling Jaya will begin operating its One-stop Counter with effect from January 24, 2005, adding another feather to the EPF's cap of providing quality customer service.

With this new development, the existing EPF counter service at Menara Yayasan Selangor, Petaling Jaya will cease its operations with effect from the same date.

"With the One-stop Counter, members will be able to conduct all their EPF transactions at one place, without having to travel to a number of locations for different services," said Encik Nik Affendi Jaafar, Senior Public Relations Manager of the EPF.

"Opening the One-stop Counter at the Bangunan KWSP, Jalan Gasing is part of the EPF's development strategy for a nationwide network of One-stop Counters to ensure accessibility to all our members. The One-stop Counter at the Jalan Gasing building is to serve our members in the Klang Valley," he added.

Services provided by the One-stop Counter include:

1. Accepting withdrawal applications
2. Registering new members and employers
3. Providing and accepting EPF forms from members and employers
4. Receiving EPF contributions
5. Issuing statement of accounts
6. Handling customers' enquiries and complaints
7. Providing advice on EPF services
The operational hours of the Bangunan KWSP, Jalan Gasing One-stop Centre is as
follows:

Monday - Friday
8.15 a.m. - 4.15 p.m.
Saturday
8.15 a.m. - 12.15 p.m.
Saturday (First & Third week)
Closed

There are eight other One-stop Counters nationwide, located at Kuala Lumpur, Johor Bharu, Kota Bharu, Klang, Sungai Petani, Segamat, Sandakan and Teluk Intan.
