The Parliament of Malaysia cordially invites members of the media to attend a Press Conference following the conclusion of the 14th ASEAN-AIPA Leaders’ Interface, held in conjunction with the 46th ASEAN Summit.
 
This press conference will cover the key takeaways from the ASEAN-AIPA engagement, including the outcome of the delivery of the AIPA President’s Message by His Excellency Tan Sri Dato’ (Dr.) Johari bin Abdul, President of the ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly (AIPA).
 
The message reaffirmed AIPA’s commitment to placing parliaments at the forefront of ASEAN’s inclusive and sustainable development agenda—emphasising the importance of legislative cooperation in advancing climate resilience, digital inclusion, and gender-balanced policymaking. The Interface serves as a strategic platform to align parliamentary perspectives with ASEAN’s priorities and deepen institutional synergy between executive and legislative bodies across the region.
