Dear Esteemed Members of the Media,
 
The 19th ASEAN Ministerial Meeting on Transnational Crime (AMMTC) and Related Meetings will take place from 8 to 12 September 2025 in Melaka, Malaysia, at the DoubleTree by Hilton Melaka.
 
The Prime Minister of Malaysia, YAB Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, will officially open the 19^th AMMTC and Related Meetings, on 10 September 2025.
 
The AMMTC serves as a premier ministerial platform for ASEAN Member States to address the evolving threats of transnational crime, including human trafficking, drug smuggling, cybercrime, and terrorism. It also provides a framework for collaboration with ASEAN’s dialogue partners – China, Japan, and South Korea.

Through these meetings, the Ministry of Home Affairs reaffirms Malaysia’s strong commitment to spearheading regional efforts against transnational crime. Malaysia’s leadership reflects its determination to safeguard regional security, stability, and prosperity.

We are pleased to announce that media registration for accreditation is now open for coverage of the 19th AMMTC and Related Meetings.
