Malaysia Healthcare Travel Council (MHTC) and Maybank are bringing together Malaysia’s healthcare ecosystem with Maybank’s regional network across Asia Pacific to unlock new pathways for medical tourism.
 
Through the multi-year collaboration, MHTC’s expertise in connecting international patients to Malaysia’s healthcare services will be complemented by Maybank’s established customer relationships, financial ecosystem and presence across key regional markets, creating a more integrated proposition that brings healthcare access, financial solutions and personalised support closer to patients throughout their healthcare journey.

Built around Access, Assurance, Ease and Companionship, the initiative offers a new way of experiencing Malaysia as a healthcare destination, while positioning Maybank as a trusted banking gateway to Malaysia Healthcare. The collaboration will be unveiled at the MHTC × Maybank Signing Ceremony, marking the launch of a longer-term platform with regional ambitions across ASEAN.

Media Registration & Arrival Instructions
 
All media representatives are required to register at Minangkabau Lobby, Menara Merdeka Maybank, where designated Maybank representatives will assist with registration and escort them to the event venue at Level 55. To facilitate a smooth registration process and avoid congestion, media representatives will be accommodated in two batches, with registration at 1.40 pm and 1.50 pm, respectively.
 
Media representatives are kindly requested to submit their registration details to Mr. Adan (rasydan.m@mhtc.org.my/012-3004238) by Wednesday, 14 October 2026, at 12.00 pm. Please indicate your attendance in advance to facilitate media registration arrangements.  

You are cordially invited to send a reporter and photographer/cameraman to cover the signing ceremony.
