LGMS AI Cybersecurity Summit 2026: Introducing five ‘Made by Malaysia’ cybersecurity solutions

Thursday 22/10/2026

To be launched by MOSTI Minister YB Datuk Chang Lih Kang

As cybercriminals increasingly harness artificial intelligence (AI) to launch faster, more sophisticated attacks, a Malaysian cybersecurity company is stepping forward with five homegrown solutions designed to help businesses and organisations stay ahead of emerging threats.

LGMS Berhad will unveil these advanced ‘Made by Malaysia’ cybersecurity technologies at the LGMS AI Cybersecurity Summit 2026, which will be officiated by Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation YB Datuk Chang Lih Kang.

Researched, designed and developed entirely in Malaysia, the five solutions represent a significant advancement in local cybersecurity innovation, addressing vulnerabilities in AI applications, software systems, compromised credentials, exposed digital assets and cyber intrusions.

Themed ‘When Attackers Use AI, Cyber Defence Must Evolve’, the summit will also examine how AI is changing the cybersecurity landscape and why traditional security measures alone are no longer sufficient to protect businesses and critical infrastructure.

The Minister is expected to address the importance of cybersecurity in advancing Malaysia's AI Nation 2030 ambitions, as well as the Government's ‘Made by Malaysia’ aspiration under Budget 2027 to develop homegrown technologies and Malaysian intellectual property.
