KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 27 (Bernama) -- Malaysia’s Coffee Star has taken a bold step onto the global stage by forging a strategic partnership agreement with Puro Coffee (Belgium) and Alkeyf Ibtikar (Saudi Arabia) to revolutionise the coffee industry in Saudi Arabia.

The partnership agreement was officially signed in a prestigious ceremony in Kuala Lumpur, witnessed by key industry leaders, business partners, and media representatives. This collaboration marks a significant milestone for Malaysian innovation in the global  coffee market.

Through this joint venture, Puro Coffee Saudi Arabia Ltd., the partnership cutting-edge automated barista machines across key locations in Saudi Arabia, including airports, corporate offices, shopping malls, and for pilgrims in Makkah and Madinah.

“This collaboration is a testament to Malaysia’s growing influence in the global coffee industry. Coffee Star is proud to bring Malaysian innovation and expertise to an international platform, proving that our homegrown technology can compete on a world stage,” said CEO of Coffee Star, YM Raja Ahmad Fauzan.

The company will commence operations in Saudi Arabia with the Suqya @ Road2Haramain initiative, aimed at providing automated coffee stations for pilgrims in Makkah and Madinah. The project aims to provide coffee as a form of infaq (charity), offering free drinks to pilgrims and helping to enhance their experience while fulfilling their religious duties.

“The Suqya initiative is close to our hearts because it offers a way for people to support others through the simple act of sharing a cup of drink. This ensures that the spirit of generosity extends beyond the pilgrimage itself,” added Raja Ahmad Fauzan.
