KUALA LUMPUR, March 24 (Bernama) -- Generali Malaysia’s highly anticipated Generali Malaysia Run 2025 is set to take place on 11 May 2025, Sunday at Dataran Wawasan, Putrajaya. Targeting 10,000 runners across 6km, 12km and 21.1km, this year’s event continues its commitment of promoting an active lifestyle while ramping up its impact on community support.

In line with Generali’s commitment to support the underserved community, 15% of the registration fees and proceeds from the sale of add-on run merchandise will be contributed to The Human Safety Net (THSN) NGO partners namely Suriana Welfare Society Malaysia and Yayasan Generasi Gemilang, to support programmes that provide essential resources and assistance to children in need across Malaysia.

With options for both physical and virtual run participation, the event welcomes runners of all levels, from beginners to seasoned athletes, to step up and make a difference. Whether running solo or with friends and family, every participant is empowered to contribute to a greater cause while embracing the benefits of an active lifestyle.

“Generali Malaysia Run 2025 puts their commitment into action, resulting in a healthier and more connected community while giving back to society. After the incredible response from last year’s run, we are confident that this year’s edition will be even bigger and more impactful. We encourage everyone to lace up, join us, and be part of this inspiring journey towards positive change,” said Fabrice Benard, Chief Executive Officer of Generali Insurance Malaysia Berhad and Country Head of Generali Entities in Malaysia.

Last year, the Generali Malaysia Run inspired close to 12,000 participants to run for better health while raising over RM105,000 for three key non-governmental organisations—PINTAR Foundation, the Malaysian Nature Society, and the National Cancer Society Malaysia. Additionally, through The Human Safety Net (THSN) Global Challenge Fund, a total of RM354,513 was raised to support early childhood education. These funds benefited the Suriana Welfare Society Malaysia's Project Bright Beginnings programme, which provides essential support to children aged 3 to 6 and families in PPR Kg Muhibbah.
