SHAH ALAM, April 29 (Bernama) -- Selangor is set to take center stage at Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan, with its highly anticipated Selangor Week, happening from 5th–9th May 2025 at Malaysia’s Pavilion. In collaboration with Monsta Studios Sdn Bhd—a renowned Selangor-based global animation company with a strong Japanese following for its hit animated series Mechamato—the state has produced a dynamic 3D animated promotional video to mark this prestigious global event.

Unveiled today, the 30-second promotional video offers an exclusive first look into Selangor’s showcase under the theme “Building a Resilient Future.” Featuring cutting-edge visuals and an engaging narrative, the video also includes a special appearance by YAB Dato' Seri Amirudin Shari, Dato’ Menteri Besar Selangor, alongside Mechamato, joining forces to promote Selangor Week at Expo 2025 Osaka.

“Selangor Week at World Expo 2025 Osaka will be a pivotal moment for us to present Selangor as an investment powerhouse and a hub for future-ready industries. Our promotional video encapsulates the essence of what makes Selangor the ideal destination for business, trade, and innovation,” said YB Tuan Ng Sze Han, Exco for Investment, Trade, and Mobility.

Selangor’s participation in Expo 2025 Osaka aligns with its strategic focus on digital transformation and sustainable development, reinforcing its position as a leading economic driver in the ASEAN region. Through immersive exhibits, business engagements, and cultural showcases, Selangor aims to attract international investors, foster collaborations, and enhance trade opportunities with Japan and beyond.
