SHAH ALAM, Sept 23 (Bernama) -- Selangor International Business Summit (SIBS) 2025 is proud to introduce the Selangor Aerospace Summit (SAS) 2025 as one of its key components which will take place from 8 – 10 October 2025 at the Grand Ballroom & Banquet Hall, Level 3, Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC).

The SAS2025 is an indoor exhibition and conference that complements the state’s flagship Selangor Aviation Show. It will showcase the latest innovation and technology from the aerospace industry players including commercial and business aviation including  commercial and business aviation, as well as the broader aerospace industry.

This event is dedicated to driving the growth of the aerospace industry, powered by the Selangor State Government’s ongoing efforts to develop a world-class aerospace hub. By fostering a conducive ecosystem for innovation, investment, and trade, Selangor aims to position itself as a powerhouse for aerospace in the region. The event serves as a platform to strengthen the supply chain, attract global partnerships, and accelerate regional growth, ultimately contributing to Malaysia’s economic advancement and cementing Selangor’s role as a key player in the global aerospace landscape and ASEAN to economic and geo-political issues from worldwide.

Building on the success of the Selangor Aviation Show 2024, which brought together global industry leaders and local SMEs under one roof, the “Selangor Aerospace Summit 2025” will broaden discussion across key aerospace sectors. The conference will cover topics including maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) ecosystem, regional aerospace growth, supply chain, sustainability, talent development and many more.

A number of companies has dedicated their support as the event sponsors including NAICO Malaysia, UMW Aerospace, Dassault Aviation, Base Maintenance Malaysia, Impeccable Vintage Properties, Crew Lounge and Sin-Kung Logistics Berhad. As of now, 87% of exhibition space has been secured with various exhibitors from the local and foreign countries including France and Czech Republic. Among the companies that have already confirmed their participation are Altech Industrial and Engineering Supply, Epic Aero, AAFC Flying Club, GSE-M Technology, Advantech Alliance,  Politeknik Banting Selangor, Skyways Technics, Feiran Technology, MAIA, Amros Asia and many more.

For the first time, SAS 2025 will introduce new additions, including a facilities visit to Asia Digital Engineering and Selangor Aero Park (SAP), which will involve 40–45 trade visitors, with transportation provided from KLCC to the facilities via four dedicated vans. Another new addition is an introduction to the ecosystem and possibilities session aimed at empowering high-potential SMEs to scale and access global aviation and aerospace supply chains through targeted exposure. These additions are crafted to deepen engagement,  strengthen collaborations, and reinforce Selangor’s position as a leading aerospace hub in ASEAN.

These curated programmes are designed to enhance networking opportunities, encourage collaboration, and showcase Selangor’s strategic position as a leading aerospace hub in Southeast Asia.

SAS2025 continues to demonstrate a strong commitment to nurturing future talent by hosting a Career Fair in collaboration with PERKESO through MyFutureJobs. The initiative connects companies with jobseekers using an integrated registration platform, ensuring efficient recruitment. At Selangor Aviation Show (SAS) 2024, 222 jobseekers secured employment through this initiative and with the participation of leading aviation and aerospace companies. SAS 2025 is set to create even more impactful opportunities for young professionals entering the industry.

As Selangor’s flagship business and investment summit, SIBS 2025 is expected to draw over 50,000 visitors and feature more than 700 booths, solidifying its standing as one of the most prominent business gatherings in Southeast Asia.
