BUKIT JALIL, 26 Sept (Bernama) -- MIMOS Holdings Sdn Bhd provides this clarification regarding our ongoing collaboration with MyNasional Holdings Sdn Bhd.

Our strategic engagement with MyNasional Holdings is strictly focused on exploring potential strategic partnership opportunities in Artificial Intelligence (AI) initiatives. This collaboration is currently at an early stage and is formalised under a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

We wish to clearly state the facts of this partnership and its scope:

• The focus of this collaboration is AI initiatives only. We are not aware of any alternative digital ID initiative that is the subject of this specific partnership.
• MIMOS Holdings holds no equity or ownership in MyDigital ID.
• The collaboration does not involve any shareholding, equity participation, or merger with MyDigital ID.

MIMOS Holdings remains fully committed to transparency and responsible innovation. We look forward to exploring how this early-stage partnership can potentially advance the application of Artificial Intelligence for national digital initiatives.
