Malaysian Financial Planning Day 2025 Returns with Career Insights and Networking Opportunities

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 8 (Bernama) -- The Malaysian Financial Planning Council (MFPC), together with co-organisers the Association of Financial Advisers (AFA), the Financial Planning Association of Malaysia (FPAM) and the Malaysian Financial Planners and Advisers Association (MFPAA), will host the Malaysian Financial Planning Day (MFPD) 2025 on Saturday, 11 October 2025, at the Securities Commission (SC) Malaysia from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
 
The event will be officiated by Datuk Seri Abdul Jalil Hamid, Executive Director, Strategic Communications & Chairman’s Office of SC, following the welcoming address by Mr Andy Ng Yen Heng, President of MFPC.
 
Now in its third edition with support from the Capital Market Development Fund (CMDF), this flagship event promotes financial planning as a career and raises awareness of its role in financial literacy and national development. Carrying the theme “Financial Planner as a Professional Career in Malaysia”, the event features engaging sessions, thought-provoking industry dialogues, and valuable networking opportunities with representatives from licensed financial planning firms.
 
This hybrid event will showcase a dynamic line-up of expert sessions featuring speakers from Malaysia’s leading financial planning firms. Topics will range from building and branding a career in financial planning to strategies for achieving financial health, managing gig economy challenges, and effective planning for different life stages. To enrich the discussion, two roundtable dialogues titled “Financial Planning for the Future of Work: Thriving in a Gig Economy” will feature practitioners from MFPC, AFA, FPAM, and MFPAA sharing practical insights and perspectives on the rapidly evolving financial landscape.
 
Participants will have the networking opportunities and visit exhibition booths hosted by licensed financial planning firms, offering direct engagement with licensed practitioners to explore potential career paths and advisory services. Furthermore, the audience can participate in interactive learning activities, exciting lucky draw prizes, and valuable opportunities for graduates, professionals, and aspiring financial planners to connect with industry leaders. Admission is free, but pre-registration is required for entry.
