KUALA LUMPUR, March 4 (Bernama) – The Malaysian National News Agency (BERNAMA) today organised its annual Ramadan Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme at the Main Hall of Hospital Kuala Lumpur (HKL) as a gesture of appreciation for the dedication and sacrifices of the hospital’s healthcare personnel.
Held under the theme “Sincerely Giving, Truly Appreciating”, the programme recognised the unwavering commitment of HKL staff in delivering quality healthcare services to the community, particularly during demanding times.
The event, held from 3.00 pm to 5.00 pm, saw the distribution of 1,000 food packs to HKL personnel. Financial assistance was also extended to several staff members currently undergoing medical treatment.
In addition, a portion of the financial contribution will be channelled to HKL’s Gerobok Rezeki initiative, which provides essential support to staff in need.
BERNAMA remains steadfast in its commitment to meaningful community engagement and to supporting frontline workers, especially during the holy month of Ramadan.
“We believe the dedication and sacrifices of healthcare frontliners deserve the highest recognition. Through this CSR initiative, BERNAMA hopes to extend not only assistance, but also encouragement and solidarity to the dedicated staff of Hospital Kuala Lumpur,” said a BERNAMA representative.
