KUALA LUMPUR, May 11 (Bernama) -- PETRONAS Lubricants Marketing Malaysia Sdn Bhd (PLMMSB), a subsidiary of PETRONAS Dagangan Berhad (PDB) together with joint venture company, Blueshark Malaysia Sdn Bhd (Blueshark) have recently formalised a strategic collaboration through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), beginning with the onboarding of five selected PETRONAS MotoExpert outlets to support aftersales services for Blueshark and SoloEra electric motorcycles, with further expansion planned in phases.
The collaboration aligns with PDB’s broader ambitions in advancing sustainable energy solutions and marks a practical step in strengthening synergy across the ecosystem. It reflects a shared focus on enhancing customer convenience, expanding service accessibility, and creating new access points for electric two-wheelers (2W-EV) mobility across Malaysia in line with the evolving mobility landscape.
Under the MoU, both parties will explore collaboration across three key areas: expanding service coverage through authorised providers within the PETRONAS MotoExpert network; delivering joint marketing campaigns, roadshows, and customer engagement initiatives; and establishing new sales and service touchpoints for individual and fleet customers by leveraging their nationwide network.
The partnership combines Blueshark’s electric mobility expertise with PLMMSB’s established market presence and service ecosystem, helping to strengthen ownership confidence while supporting broader adoption among both individual riders and commercial fleet operators.
Driving the Next Phase of Growth
Since becoming part of the PDB’s ecosystem, Blueshark has continued to expand its presence across retail, digital, fleet, and infrastructure segments. This collaboration builds on that momentum by broadening service accessibility and increasing key customer touchpoints, contributing to a more seamless ownership experience.
