IPOH, Aug 13 (Bernama) -- A mother's determination to secure her son's future has become an unexpected blessing after Encik Muhammad Yaa'sin Muhamad Pilus, a person with Down Syndrome from Trong, Perak, was announced as the RM100,000 BSN Sijil Simpanan Premium (BSN SSP) winner for the State Draw – Bonus Prize category in May.
For Puan Suzanah Ismail, 54, a pharmacy assistant under the Ministry of Health Malaysia (KKM), the win represents far more than a financial windfall. It is the culmination of more than a decade of consistent saving, driven by a hope to provide greater financial security for her 24-year-old son, who has mild Down Syndrome.
More than 10 years ago, Puan Suzanah began her savings journey with BSN SSP under her son's name.
