PENANG, Malaysia, Oct 8 (Bernama) -- KYZEN, a global leader in innovative precision cleaning solutions for electronics and advanced manufacturing industries, today officially celebrated the grand opening of its new facility in Penang, Malaysia, marking a significant milestone in the company's continued growth and long-term commitment to the country, building on more than 16 years of operations in Penang. 

The new facility represents a substantial financial commitment, further contributing to Malaysia's economic development and strengthening the nation's position as a strategic hub for advanced manufacturing and technology-driven industries. 

The grand opening ceremony was attended by YB Tuan Sim Tze Tzin, Deputy Minister of Investment, Trade and Industry (MITI), representatives from MIDA and Invest Penang, industry partners, customers, suppliers, and members of the business community. 

Strengthening Manufacturing Excellence in Malaysia
The newly inaugurated facility significantly expands KYZEN's operational capabilities and staffing capacity, positioning the company to better support the growing needs of customers across Malaysia and the Asia-Pacific region.

The facility is designed to enhance production capacity, improve product delivery, and strengthen technical support services while incorporating advanced manufacturing technologies and sustainable operating practices. 

Key highlights include:

• Expanded production and operational capabilities;
• Enhanced support for semiconductors, electronics, automotive, medical devices, and industrial manufacturing sectors;
• Advanced technology and innovation-driven manufacturing processes; and
• Sustainable and environmentally responsible operations. 

This investment reflects KYZEN's confidence in Malaysia's strong industrial ecosystem, highly skilled workforce, strategic location, and conducive investment environment. 

KYZEN’s expansion adds to sustained investment activity in Malaysia’s manufacturing sector, which secured RM51.3 billion in approved investments across 973 projects in the first half of 2026, according to MIDA.  

MIDA continues handholding investors such as KYZEN throughout their investment journey, facilitating project implementation and expansion while strengthening linkages with Malaysia’s broader industrial ecosystem. The agency remains focused on attracting and supporting quality investments that contribute to technological advancement, highskilled employment, and stronger domestic capabilities.
